What is Whiteboards data policy?

Your Whiteboards data:

Most of the questions related to data policy are answered in Appfire’s EULA and Privacy Policy.

In Google’s Firebase, we only keep an authentication token from Atlassian, Google, or other SSO providers. The token doesn’t give Whiteboards access to any authentication data, such as login credentials, and they are never stored in our database; they stay with the provider.

The token only allows logging in or displaying content such as Jira or GitHub issues. They also aren’t kept in our database. The token can only be used in the specific context for which it was requested (e.g., login authentication).

For Whiteboards.io (standalone), we store first name, last name, and role as the user provides these details during account creation.

For data of objects added to the board, we only keep data in rest that is in-scope (e.g., lines, sticky notes) in our database. Read more about it in our Data Residency.
