How to create a backup or clone a board?

Backing up your data exports your board to a file and is useful when you:

Want to keep the board data offline on your device,
Decide to duplicate or clone the board,
Need to create a template from the board for a different Whiteboards organization (Pro plan feature),
Want to move boards between different Whiteboards instances (for example, from Whiteboards.io to Whiteboards for Jira).
Features specific to one instance, like the issue table from Whiteboards for Jira, won’t work in other instances. If you need help assessing what will be moved with a backup, contact our support at support@whiteboards.io.

Creating a backup file will generate a .json file with all the elements placed on the board. This doesn’t include board settings, comments left on the board, and sharing settings.
